Hmm Im wondering how to bring abit activity into ot area and came up with idea for releasing rather small fully custom map which you can conquer with small team. It would work like co-op version of rpg games. You would be matched from 3 to 10 people dependings on difficulity of map and solve the main story questline.

Players would start off with lets say lvl 50s (each level is 3 points so you start off with 150 points). Vocations would be custom or totally no vocation system but skill system. You would start off with character creation kit every time you start the game. Perks/skills would be:

Melee Combat would split into
Speed combat - suitable for dps classes. The more points in here, the more spells and more atk speed modificator your character has.
Brutal Combat - suitable for typical warrior. The more points in here, the more damage with basic attacks and more AoE physicall spells.
Balanced Combat - suitable for those that wants to mix speed and force. The more points in here the character gains more atk speed and basic atk power altough it's power is halfed, also spells requires more points here.
Defensive Combat - suitable for tanks. The more points here the more hp and defensive ability character gets.

Ranged Combat would split into
Archers - ranged dps option. Every point increases atk speed and hit ratio with bows and arrows. The spells would specialize in facing 1 target and increasing crit ratio.
Crossbow - suitable for rather more brutal way. Every point increases power of every bolt you shot. Also the more points the better spells you get. Spells specialize in 1 and multiple targets but arent as powerfull as archer ones.
Spearman - suitable for rather balanced ranged player. The more points the higher hit ratio and more dmg. Spells are very cunning, they specialize in aoe dmg on straight lines also cooldown on spells is very high and demands more thinking than just spamming.

Arcane Combat would split into
Water - Healers, condition buffers (increasing hp, mp regens, shortening cooldowns) sort of thing. The more points here, the better buffs are, every point increases power of early spells and allows to use new ones. After 10 points you get basic healing spell (with 0 points in here ur meant to use potions, food, rings or someone who would heal you)
Fire - specialize in aoe dmg, rather medium damage but who wouldnt love just clearing waves of monsters with powerfull magican? Some of spells gives additional damage to party members.
Air - specialize in 1 target spells that does big damage, some of spells also buffs your party members with movement speed, atk speed.
Earth - specialize in aoe low dmg spells and buffing party with defensive buffs. Also uses its power to block the path for incoming dangers.
Thunder - specialize in high dmg small range spells, rather dangerous path as you need to be really close (3 sqm max) to target to use Any given spell on it. It has biggest damage but also big cooldowns and is always in grave danger (glass cannon)

Possible mix:
Speed Combat with Thunder element.
Defensive combat with Water element
Defensive combat with Thunder element.
Brutal Combat with Fire element.
Balanced combat with Spearman
Water and Air elements
Water and Earth elements
Fire and Air elements
etc.

If you see my point already, good. If not, let me explain further. By making such system based on closed teamplay teams we could bring more fun to ot. No grinding, just pure fun. After death you would be unable to play with your team and you switch into specator mode (invisible for your teammates) which will allow you to watch as your team struggles without you or still carries on to the end. Of course to prevent "exploring" area with ghost, you would be bound to them as typicall specator and be able to switch between point of view by simple command /pov 1 /pov 2 /pov 3 where numbers would be nicks of teammates.

Quest could vary depending on which you want to play, do you want to take a part into slaying a beast? rescuing some poor man daughter from hands of slavers? or maybe find unique item? Choices are unlimited and it's only community to decide how it would look like. Maps would be taken from special directory as like from every rts like game vide warcraft etc. Every game would have no "game starter", it will start when desired amount of players meets the requirment, depending also on difficulity the less players are allowed on map and monsters are the same but stronger...
