I will too.. Those shitting on microsoft because the surface got stuck during the presentation, don't bullshit me saying your ipad / ipod has never gotten stuck for a couple of seconds... Besides I bet it's going to be at the 200's or less, unlike Apple bullshit 500$+ on everything that they freshly release.

Surface seems to be a really nice tablet. Feels like Microsoft is on the right track. I'm also interested in Windows Server 2012.

Like other hardware doesn't fail, if that happens after release, then it might be a problem, but during its unveiling, I don't find it THAT shocking, wasn't the XBox360 or the PS3 that also froze in a presentation in E3 a couple years back?

I plan on saving up for a Mircrosoft Surface Pro, I've done some reading and I've seen really good reviews on it and as for it sticking for a second so what? All electronics do it every now and then!

Besides that's a prototype, they're still adding more and more modifications, besides, every software eventually freezes.. I'm still going to buy it

P.S: It froze when he tried opening internet explorer llolol.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOOL! Not to mention iPad can't use Flash or Java (if I'm correct about Java) and or Microsoft Office (they whined to see if Microsoft would allow them to use office and they said nah) plus apple is coming to a halt now that there is no more jobs... xD
 
here are my two cents, I think it will fail, why? for starters, it's a huge late start, the tablet industry is dominated by two Giants, Apple and Android, Windows has had a bad reputation with ARM(I'm assuming this device is not ARM-based), I mean look at their fail-phone 7, I will assume and regardless if it ain't, that it will be an x86 or x86_64 architecture. I will buy it and make a sacrilege by installing Android(if x86) or Linux. I mean if it's going to be $200 a piece, I would really do something better with it.

About hardware freezing? Perhaps OS? anyways, my toaster froze when I plugged it in for the first time(true story), shit happens.

You have no idea how many fails apple and everyone else done.. but yet if windows does one, it's get highlighted like they're the only ones.
And do you know how manys fails you can find in the newest Iphone today for example? :)

OS: Windows 8 for normal and Windows RT for Pro
Processor: Yes it is an ARM
As for late starting: Apple is already shitting their pants!
64-x86 arch: It is most likely going to be 64 bit bro, I don't doubt that.. It's Windows 8 FFS!!
As for price I'm estimating about the same as when the iPad came out so a good $400-$600 USD?
