Full source edit server.

Hello, I just have a question..
Would it be possible to make a server by just source editing stuff in?
By this I mean if you could make anything you can with LUA scripts.

Yes you could but the server core would become bloated and should you have problems, fixing them could be cumbersome.

Not to mention the incessant innecessity for doing so, when you have such a nicely built LUA environment to handle movement and other typely requests from the client.

I've heard a bit of people ask me about this.

People have this belief that if you most scripts from LUA to the source, it is SO MUCH faster.

I don't think it is as much of a speed increase as most people think.
