Before I start I just want to say that I have been trying to solve this problem for around 8-9 months now... If you want to try and help me feel free to PM me and we can use skype, vent or whatever...

Hello everyone! Right now I am so close setting up my own OT server. You can join it through my IP address but now I want to setup my own website to it. I bought an domain throught the website "Crystone.se" (swedish website) and now I want to install my Geisor Acc Manager on it. Now to the problem:

I can not install it. I get this https://i.imgur.com/ApfQc15.png . I know I have the right settings and I know that my config file has the right settings. I know that that it should work since I it works when i set it up for myself via localhost (proof: https://i.imgur.com/A0uwPDN.png) (Do not bother about that I were using port 81 cuz I used skype at the moment and it still works on port 80 when I am not using skype).

So can anyone help me please?!

EDIT:
I have also uploaded my OT folder including config.lua into "/webspace/httpdocs/OT". My website including geisor is located in "/webspace/httpdocs/xxxxx.com". I tried to switch from the path for the installation from "C:/OT/" (which i used to use when I installed it locally) to "/webspace/httpdocs/OT". I thought it maybe could not find my config.lua (which is located in my folder named "OT") because it is an local folder located in on my computer. So that is why it worked to install Geisor locally using "localhost:80" instead of my own domain "xxxxxx.com".

But this did not work of course because nothing works for me... Anyone got some clues to use to guide me now? :D
I JUST WANT TO FIX THIS! ALMOST 9 MONTHS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.

Can't help u with gesior, sorry about that pal!

While a VPS and DOMAIN are not the same thing, I assume the principles will be the same.
Anyway I came across this yesterday, and when I saw your post it came to mind
GESIOR 2012 - Version 1.0.1 for 0.2.x, 0.3.6 and all 0.4
If this doesn't work, I would suggest trying to get ahold of Gesior.pl.

Its worth a shot right?
Thanks for the reply! I'v done some researches but i could not understand everything he wrote about... Do you know what I should change here in my MySQL database? https://i.imgur.com/Frbj9VJ.png

You prolly already did this but when you copied the server files and set the directory to: /webspace/httpdocs/OT did you add a / at the end? It would look like "/webspace/httpdocs/OT/"

THANK YOU FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO HELP ME! <3
Well yes, I will host apache, mysql and my ot server from my computer.
And yes i tried with "/webspace/httpdocs/OT/" and it did not work of course!: :(
I am going to bed right now since it is really late here in Sweden atm :-/ I will check for some updates tomorrow and hopefully we can solve this problem :D

I don't know if this help you but it sure it helped me..

Inside your your server map you have config.lua as you properly already know.. Open it with Notepad++!
If you don't have that program, get it!

When you are inside config.lua you see lines like this for example: -- accountManager
If you delete all the lines in config.lua is should work for you!

But get notepad++ because the lines you are gonna delete is Green!

Hope it works for you!

Ok, first install script told you that path to config.lua its WRONG, or it can't find it in path you give so its nothing with database idk what program for file transfer you use (ftp) but in my case
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6v2xat6xkq0sobo/bez tyt.png
stuff in red circle its path to folder program WinSCP im using.
You have to transfer all files to server cuz you can't install it via your PC it has to be on server you can install WinSCP for that.

- also for database way more better to use its HeidiSQL insted of phpmyadmin.

Again, thanks everyone that are trying to help me! Love you all <3
Well I am using Filezilla instead of winscp and I have uploaded everything (https://i.imgur.com/f8NdDAm.png).
As you can see here (https://i.imgur.com/TT2Ngrs.png) my install.php which is making my Geisor even start are here in the path "/webspace/httpdocs/xxxxxx.com/". install.php is asking for my config.lua which is located in here "https://i.imgur.com/xlBPWu7.png", "/webspace/httpdocs/OT".
So I thought by writing "/webspace/httpdocs/OT" in here "https://i.imgur.com/CD7Dc1b.png" in the Geisor acc maker that it would find my config.lua but it did not find it and I think it is really strange because it's there!

I do not know if it is worth to mention that I start my Uniform server (apache and MySQL) on my computer, I have Uniform server installed on my C:/ drive.

This is pretty odd. First off I think the only files you need from your OT server is the config.lua and data/XML.
Here are a few of my suggestions
  1. Have you tried just "webspace/httpdocs/OT/" when setting the directory?
  2. Contact the support of the website for a full file path because that might be the problem.
  3. Contact Gesior.pl because hes likely to know
  4. This could work, in the ACC folder on your domain add install.txt and in it put the ip of your domain, then reload the website.

You have to do this if you get an error message after setting the directory. It will tell you what lines need to be changed. I dont think this is his problem because his cant locate the config at all.

Where can I contact this Geisor.pl? :D It feels like he know something about this stuff <3

Would be much easier, if you add me on Skype: [email protected]
because here questions/answers may take aaaages.
You can try to use 'relational' address (directory) of OTS:
../OT/
Maaaybe it will go back 1 folder (from: /webspace/httpdocs/xxxxxx.com/ , to: /webspace/httpdocs/) and then go to /webspace/httpdocs/OT/
