Theres nothing special about them. Looks like it took you 5 minutes to map both. Try mapping more realistic pieces. Towns, caves, etc.
 
I am doing this thread so people can give me Ideas Like u I am a begginer so These tips can make me learn and be better

See the bridge and the svamp, maybe it can countain a mountain their who has a waterfall :)
so it just look nature, think of you see outside, mountains, sahara and things, let the fantasy going try your mind when you mapping ;)

Try not to just use Auto-Boarder, push A to take auto border away and A again to get it back, and try not to make all things sqaury and do not add to many monster in that cyclop cave i recommend like 1 in that cave and in the lower part you should take 1 and 1 and 1 to the 2 cycs in the lower part in the cave, just a tip :)
