Ever since softcores started
all i have seen in the forums is threads complaining about bans
i admit ive seen a few mapping peices, scripts, etc.
but the majority is
you cant scroll down through the New posts page
and see nothing about softcores, icechaw, thunderfall

Theres been less mapping showoffs, etc.

Suggestion part:
Maybe i get signs?

Maybe if you can somehow disable, showing the Hosted Project Boards, not show in the new posts, so people have to check the forums in there on little section

maybe there will be more showoffs aswell


just a thought
i just think otland.net has gone downhill since Softcores came about.
They all joined forums and now complain about they're banishments -.-
Its there personal problem nobody elses.

If some people dont understand by what i mean when i say
Hosted project boards will not show posts
in the New posts section
If someone wants to veiw their sub-forum
they can by clicking quick links > hosted project boards > they're server

instead of all the victims that dont play those servers, or those that want something that relate to them, they dont need to listen to things

This has already been requested, but we haven't found a hack that would work this way. If you manage to find a hack at VBulletin.org then post it here, so Tala can review it, then he might implement it.
 
It wouldn't be like that if people stopped flaming the OT and Flaming the GM's for every little fault they do.
 
otland.net isn't going downhill, it's growing, even faster than the time before SoftCores was created. We already have several updates planned, and I also have some improvements planned for the forum structure. You can expect to see changes in the first days of April (or probably even earlier if I can find some time).

I will try to find a good way to filter out posts from Hosted Project Boards from pages like New posts.

@x0r: Alexa isn't very accurate, OtLand has alot more traffic than http://softcores.otland.net.
 
We already discussed some kind of filter, also we had found one in the past. Now we need to hope there is an updated version available..
 
Oh, guess why it's growing? There's tons of noobs with 1-10 posts that joins the forum to just complain about their ban..
 
otland have got more famus of these ots so i dont think your 100% right
and i know that i we see much complains about ban and those things

but i can fix it if ya want

i still got my spamming skills =) but they are rusty :(
