getCreatureStorage for tfs 1.1

attempt to call global 'getCreatureStorage' (a nil value)
k so im using a tfs 1.0 script on tfs 1.1
is there a way i can change
getCreatureStorage to the proper 1.1 function?

getCreatureStorage is a function from TFS 0.3/0.4.
For TFS 1.0/1.1

player:getStorageValue(storage)
