Hello guys, me and some ppl are working on this server, which is really great, well, we had to put our ideas on a map first to make this project possible, now take a look how it's going =].

Maybe things will go a bit slow, but for sure I won't let this post die with no maps.

Let it start.

First, the city that is still being made, you can see one of the guildhalls, some houses and the church, in the village.

Now you can see the castle up in the right corner and the other side of the town, down there is the Arena, that's still being made.

Now you can see the temple, the center of the city, and houses ofc.

The same location as above, but +1, now the depot appears.

And to make something cool I just started this cave, tha probably will be part of a quest or something like this. It'll be a place for some custom undead monsters.

And the other part of the cave, and YES, there IS a shrine in the cave, shrines will be found on different locations in the map.

It's a newbie styled map. As I expected. I'm not hating but you can obviously improve.
Try to not make things as squary
Try to use raw palette as much.
Take shade and special tiles off in pictures, or take them ingame.
Save the picture as .png

-Well, kinda newbie, yeah, but it's not a RPG style, we're not making for RPG and neither focused on it.
-I'll try to not make thing's squary for sure.
-I don't like using raw pallete, it doesn't matter what you use, RAW, auto, you only have to know how to use your tool.
-The thread is about mapping diary, so I'll take the photos inside the map editor.
- And all the pictures are already on .png format.

Raw does make a different. But you're right. If you can use autoborder correctly then do so, and then edit a lot of details in raw and especially the borders.
