What feat would you consider the hardest in sports?

  • Pitching a perfect game in baseball
  • Blocking a penalty kick in soccer
  • Shooting a hole-in-one in golf
  • Scoring a goal as a goaltender (hockey and soccer)
  • Winning the Triple Crown in horse racing
  • Completing an unassisted triple play in baseball
  • Hitting 4 home runs in a single game of baseball
  • other... (post)

Generally, this topic is considered and should be considered only under the professional level. Put yourself in an imagination and test yourself in these feats.

Indeed it is, there are some skilled players that can get within a yard from the hole and when being that, the chances of getting a hole-in-one is between pretty uncommon to common. Hole-in-ones happened more often than other hard feats.

If I'm not mistaken there has only been one professional hockey goalie to score a goal without leaving his goal.

I think it could be Winning the Triple Crown in horse racing, because instead of one shot, you have to win three races on a horse that you cant even control.

Doing a hat-trick in football (hat-trick means "scoring 3 or more goals") is also pretty hard but Messi did it three times in a week :D

Well, it's nothing compared to hole-in-one but scoring 3 goals in 1 match (90 minutes on you) against a professional team is harder than it looks :P

Hardest one I think is getting quintuple-double(accumulation of a double-digit number total in all five categories - points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks) in basketball.

I would probably consider a one-in-one the hardest of those choices. Although a goal in Hockey is a pretty serious feat. That's why they hate it in America. "What, why aren't both teams scoring a million points!?" I don't care about horse racing. That's a horse. :-p
