My vps is windows and i can't open it by remote desktop connection please help me to open my otRDP is Windows only, if you have a Linux server you need to SSH into it, my recommendation is to use PuTTY.
this is my problemHow is anybody supposed to help? You're not even saying what's going wrong, you're simply just saying "doesn't work". Are we supposed to guess what's wrong?
remote desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons : 1 remote access o the server is not enabled 2 :the remote computer is turned off 3 :the remote computer is not avaible on the networkHow is anybody supposed to help? ok thank youI told you that you wanted Linux
Because when you needed help
Which is was quite obvious you were
People would be able to help you easier
Because everyone uses Unices for servers
So everyone has experience with them
and all their common problems.
No one uses Windows for internet servers
Everyone uses Windows for intranet servers
Campus servers. Servers in the local datacenter
On another floor. Or the building across campus
Maybe at another facility in the same organization
Just a phonecall away to a coworker. Or a quick drive.
Either way, working with Windows requires physical access.
The only thing you can do to really make your life easier
Is something that's very dangerous, but you've left yourself little choice.
When you finally get access to your server again
Install Teamviewer,
and set it to automatically start
and set a permanent password.
Or get a Linux server
RDP is Windows only
i bought new vps and need to open kvm it asking me for login and password what can i do need to access to my vpsI would contradict you, but holy shit I could not imagine trying to give anyone here X2go support when I can barely get it working myself most of the time. Wouldn't want anyone to get ideas. God help the poor souls who try to get decent performance out of xrdp. I won't mention the other one, cuz it kinda works and that's the last thing we need.
