i was thinking about buying a dedicated serv but since im not so good in this i would rly need some help..


Primergy-Server Econel 230R S1 with Serverworks HT2100 plus HT1000 Chipset
1x AMD Opteron 2344 HE, 1x Quad-Core
4 GB DDR2-RAM ECC
2x 250 GB SATA II HDDs
Hardware RAID1
5,000 GB data transfer included
Server location alternatively in Frankfurt/Germany or St. Louis/USA
(79euro/month server from serverloft)

how many players will this handle?
also ive seen that many ppl say that u should take linux but ive never rly seen anyone say why u should pick it.. whats so Unique with linux?

Trust me, 400 players with no lag is guaranteed, certainly depends on how big your map is too, though.
