Help getting started (beginner)

Hi everyone! i would like to start my own OT but start off with only for myself. I want to get better at mapping and coding before making it public.

i downloaded a data pack with an 8,60 map. Many many years ago i could just download a pack and change the ip and then just execute with a .exe file but now i dont get any exe file in the pack.

It looks like this.

How can i get an .exe file to start up the server? i want to look on my mapping (live) so to speak.

Also how do i create a GM / Admin for myself?

Back then it was probably more common with XML servers nowadays its SQL.

You didn't see executable file, because you downloaded only datapack (without server).
You can download server from that board: Distributions.
