Help! Host + Log on = Lag ?

Hey boys & girls of OTLAND!
I have a little problem I would like to solve, you maybe know why or how to fix it...

Well, I am hosting a 8.54 server & told one of my friends to logg on it, it worked just fine for him... BUT... When I try to logg on; it works, untill I get to the "Game Screen" and *Poff* I logg out but I cannot see that I get logged out because the screen has frozen allready...
So, when I logg on my own server... Everything frozes... I cannot move, chat, logg out... I cannot do anything...

Anybody know why or how to fix it ?

Yes, I do...

It's probably because the OT kicks off local players or something to prevent lag for other players.

I suggest you simply don't logon the host computer, that wont end well for the players anyways.

Hmm, you're maybe right... But, is there a way to fix this ? I mean like prevent it from kicking me ?
