That's how it works.. here I think. In certain programming languages /n is just a new line, a piece of code to execute

he's correct, \n is an escaped character, meaning that the \ token escapes the next character in the sequence, and n creates a new line when it's escaped.

Are you having an issue of some sort? If you cannot see the '\n' in game then it seems there is no problemo.
