What access do I need?

you need a certain number of posts to access the Downloads section on The Forgotten Server forum(go to the bottom of the site). Talaturen is keeping the number private so people will not just post-and-leave.

You can alternatively download it from its SVN repository at http://forgottenserver.svn.sourceforge.net and then compile it. I suggest you using TortoiseSVN to download it.

Seems like the site has been changed. The correct link:

anyways, you can use TheForgottenDevCpp to compile it on Windows, just look at the tools download section.

I can see all download links exept TFS 0.2.5
