Technically , yes. You can run 2 partitions one being your mac and the other being a windows partition. As for directly hosting from the mac I am not sure. But I know if you have a top of the line mac like myself , running windows is no problem. Runs windows better than a windows computer runs windows haha.

On your mac search for "Boot Camp" and install windows there. OR purchase/obtain a version of Parallels Desktop.

Yeah it looks like the tutorial on github is outdated because that file does not exist anymore. Follow the instructions for installing homebrew here: http://brew.sh/
Code:
ruby -e "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.github.com/Homebrew/homebrew/go/install)"

Forget? It's actually very usefull and many people actually don't know about that. Haha good work at giving him another way which is always good but it's always nice to know how to do something more than one way.

Yeah I did not mean to sound dismissive, sorry about that. I myself use VMWare workstation for many things but if there is a way to run the program natively it always best.

Of course :) No worries I never take things harsh the first time , there's always an explanation and room for misinterpretation :) Good job for helping out someone anybody who does that is truly a good person. Take care
