i port forwarded 7171 and 7172 on my netgear, turned off windows firewall (first i tried to port it on there) but still doesnt work.

What else do i need to do?

Ok, I had the same problem as you. I tried everything but it didn't work. After waiting about 1-2 days, I shutdowned my router for about 5 mintues then I turned it on and it worked!

So maybe it is the same problem? Try to shutdown your router for a while then turn it on and try again. Don't forget that you need yor server be running to test your port 7171

Ok, so can you explain us what did you do to protforward your ports? I think the problem is just that you didn't portforwarded correctly your ports 7171/7171 and 8000/8000.


Go to this website, they explain clearly how to portforward perfectly what you need. Just select your router from the list and for which application (in this case it's Tibia) and there should be a tutorial for you.

8000/8000 didnt work either
and 80/80 didnt work
ive tried everything lol still doesnt work
is it something with vista? or my connection?
