How can i know how much a website can take ddos attacks.

How can i know how much one website can take ddos attacks, and in what units are they measured?
For example any website ( www.sibenik.in; Otland.net; Facebook.com )
I heard something about 'shells' , i though that is the unit of capacity of how much a webserver can take ddos attacks.

Did you know that DoS/DDoS attacks are illegal? I wouldn't recommened to do such things.

There is nothing called I won't do something illegal with an illegal software, you have that software for a reason and it's obvious for us.

I am very happy to say that I will not support you even if it's for training, because simply why do you want to train?

Acutaly i dont have any software? although if i had one it doesnt matter in any way. Although again any ddos software is not considerered as "illegal", just because you can use it for something that IS illegal. Someon can use it for setting up security, like me.. im trying to figure out how Dos works..
And i don't see way how could knowing of limit that one website can take from ddos can help me from not doing it.
Why do i want to train? I'm interested in IT security and vulnerabilities, and thats why i am curious about it, i don't see any way why you should be so offensive on my question about DDos, im just curious man..

If you had one it still matters, having an illegal software in your computer is still against the law.

I am not being offensive I am trying to tell you what you are learning about is wrong and could lead to many bad ways of getting into jail or even getting life threaten.

If you want to learn about security then please learn how to defend yourself from ddos and not how to start an attack of one.

Its not software, its infected computers, controlled remotely in most cases (unless you really wanna get caught). Programs such as IRC could be used to launch the attack, or just from an FPS server.

If you wanna stresstest a server/website, PM me, and prove that your the owner of it and I will help you.

There is no illegal software, we can compare it to a gun If you kill someon with it it is illegal, If you have it for defense it's not illegal, it is for security If you use your gun to shoot at place where you are allowed to train your shooting skills you can get skills and know better how to defense yourself. <-Thats what im doing
Every hacker knows that if he want's to protect his system against ddos, he will need to know how ddos works. it's pretty clear why i asked you something a 'bout ddos.
That would be end of discussion.

I meant as a script, I know how ddos work but it could also but a program that is bought from forum for 10$ (not gonna link it since it's botnet)

I am done talking about this thing, I regret trying to warn anyone.

Many people do their own software for learning purposes (actually "write or "code" it). If you want a dos (or any kind of attacks like these) I would recommend googling something like this: Let me google that for you)
Check more results of this and create your own piece.

They were talking about actuall software that you download to your own PC. I take that as one of those shitty .exe files where you "type in victims IP and press boot" without infecting a single computer. DoS

How you launch a DDoS attack can vary, but as you can see in my previous post, Im refering to already existing software, that isnt ment to be used for DDoSing. IRC, FPS servers, webservers etc. DDoS
 
So the tool is used as a program which translates to software, and this software gets spread to idiots like you using windows and avoiding the subject.

Thats for newbies, the new fashion attacks are made by filtered hacked dedicated servers, using their 100% to fuck someone.
