HOW MANY PLAYERS CAN I HAVE ON MY COMPUTER? please help!

Trust me with this computer spec u can host 500-900 players,when u got nice upload ( 10mb upload)


i dont understand this why all say 70-100 lol

i hostet old legendaria with 300+ player online
with [email protected] , 2gb ram ,1 mb upload.

Without problems!

that everyone says 60-90 players is because they have probably never experienced a computer with over 2 Gb ram, and over 1,5 Ghz processor...

Honestly, its not about your Computer, its more based on your internet speed. So it could hold 100ish im guessing.

you mean computer doesn't matter at all when you are going to host a Server? Lol...

You need 1 kb down and 5-10 Kb up per player, nothing more is needed (unless you are a porno watcher at www.XXXXXX.com)

You will need a good computer if you want to host a serious server..

etc take Rl map. 300 players, You'll need 1 Gb ram to run map without laggs, and then you need 1 Mb ram per 10 players online,
also all Npcs/spawns/events in the game will drain ram memory..

and how do you activate everything in server and keep it running... Processor... and for each thing that is heavy and/or have many items that need to load at same time, you'll need more Ghz in your processor.. to run a serious server you also should have duplicated Processor, at least.. to make everything run smoother..


but please tell me,, how could you think, that computer doesn't matter?

or do you have DarkOts server from 2003 (7.1 -3Mb map server) with 5 players online?

You server will be able to hold 90-110 players without lagg!

if you get 5+ Mb upload you will be able to hold 600-700 players for sure.

700-800 if you're not using the computer for private stuffs.
