I'm playing a little on a warserver and I tried to make a movie there... first try was okay I guess you can check screenshot board where I've posted it...

So here is my request:
Can someone make a guide on how to make good tibia movies?
What programs to use and where to download them, if needed how to use them...

Would be a great help, thanks in advance

Hey dude i can help you if you wants to! Im using Hypercam 2 to record movies you can also use snagit to record movies. Edit the movies is easy. im using Magix movie editer 2005 Pro < I really like that program but for nice 'effects' you must use Sony vega's im sorry i can't make a tutorial because my other pc doesn't work we can Stay in touch if you still wants a tutorial untill my other pc is working 100% again send me a private msg if you want ;)

First you record the war with the tibicam/tibiamovie or any other cam for the client. Then you watch the cam and record it with either snag-it or hypercam. When the avi is made you should use sony vegas to edit the movie and add special effects if you like. I think the latest version is 8.0, not sure though.
Some people record the wars directly with snag-it or hypercam but that will just make the video lagging.

Good luck!

Oh nice... But I can't record tibicam on ot's :/
And tibiacam cost almost like 30 days PACC on tibia ;/

I guess it depends on the power of your PC.
I record every hunt with Snagit. My PC does not lag and records in w/e frame rate I choose (up to 60fps which is silly for tibia).
My PC also hosts the YoD OT.

So I guess I'm saying, so long as your PC is similar to mine:

E2150 @ 1.80GHz
1.81 GHz, 1.99 GB of Ram

You should be able to use something like Snagit without any lag or dropped frames.

Cheers

If you are going to use hypercam2 do this - Hypercam-AVI FILE-Frame Compression Quality - Its on 75 write 250 there and it will be better quality on your movies.

Okay now i have my new computer (amd athlon x4 9500, 4 gb ram, 512 mb graphiccard...) so maybe i should just try to get one of those recording programs? Or is it still better to have tibiacam? cuz then i could get for example first a big view of everything, (incase i frag someone far away from me) and then get the zooms on some special frags etc...

Anyways, which one is the better, snagit or hypercam2?

im downloading sony vegas atm...
btw you should know im really noob with this, yesterday i recorded a really nice escape with knight, i was trapped in a place i couldnt escape, then i managed to push someone to a dissappearing mwall place, and got a sorc close to me, then exori:ed him so he died, and managed to push the next guy away and escaped... i was really proud...

then today i watch the avi file and see that i had put the settings so the recoring region follows my goddamn mouse... like 2 hours of warserver recording to waste :(
