Linux How to get WINE to run RME

How do you set up WINE to run RME, I know it is possible.

Do you need version 1.4 or 1.5, it seems that I can not get version 1.5

And yes I know there is already a thread on this but it is basically dead so I created a new one since I really need to get RME working with WINE

I'm using Ubuntu 12.10

It actually is because walkingdragon set me to "configure" wine and that seemed to make it all work, so making a new thread.... does work. And walkingdragon gets repped.
