Compiling How to introduce engine changes?

Hi!
It is trivial question for You, but i havent found anythink about that on otland.
What i have to do after I edit my engine sources files. ( tfs is installed and works)
Need I any recompile or smt like that? I changed one file only- players.cpp
My sys. is Debian 7.

Solution
Yes, when editing .cpp files, recompile and use the new executable file to run your server.
You don't have to do this if you are only editing Lua, xml or otbm files.
