How to upgrade RAM?

Take a look at this picture and you will see the problem.

You see I have 16 GB of ram total but less than 4 useable. What the fu..... is up with that man?
 
Would you look at: Start / Run and enter: msconfig.
Then during boot (startup) and then "Advanced". Possibly uncheck max memory.

and i dotn think it can use 16 gb i think maybe 8 gb
 
Your system BIOS is either configured incorrectly, or the RAM you purchased isn't compatible with your system.

Use Google, type in "How to upgrade RAM" or "How to set BIOS for RAM", something along those lines.
