I am depressed

Try to limit how far into the future you are looking. Instead of worrying about what you will do in the next year, or month, or week. Just think about the next 5 minutes. Try to make the next 5 minutes good. Even the next 30 seconds. You won't feel like this forever so just focus on what you need to do right now to get through, following the rule stated before.

you are already big for being able to admit it around here! if you want to talk i will answer your pm with my contact! please be sure to remember that here we are friends too! if you want to talk to someone look for me!

sup @3alola1
I wasn't planning on writing anymore around here as I don't think there's much hope for the whole OTserv community. Anyway, you need help, and all of the answers in this thread are completely trash, which really enfuriates me as I experienced depression in the past, and being clueless about it is no fun.

So here is what you have to do;

  • Cut down on your addictions; you might say: "But I don't have any addiction!!" Bullshit my friend, we all do. How many hours per day do you spend on the internet? Social media? Masturbating? Watching porn? etc,.

  • Excercise, at least 30 minutes a day of walking. EVERY DAY. this is probably the easiest habit you can create that will have a huge impact on your health and mental health.

  • Meditation, 15 minutes a day, easy, extremely beneficial. If you believe it doesn't work or it's not for you, check on the thousands of the published scientific studies which can be found in the Internet, meditation is easy, in YouTube you can find simple excercises that don't require much effort. Meditation + Exercising will make the biggest impact on your mental health, in less than a week you will already feel the difference.

  • Don't eat shit, check your diet, lower the sugar, the hamburgers and the crap, add vegetables and fruit.

  • If you can socialize, do it, specially if you don't feel like, the more you don't feel like hanging out with friends, the more you need to do it. If it's not possible because you lack friends or because of Covid, then call a friend, Whatsapp or spend time with your family. Just don't isolate yourself.

Do this for 1 week, just seven days. Write down have you been feeling this week, from 1 to 10 how depressed have you felt. And then next week, record how you felt during the week. I promise you will feel a substantial improvement in your mood; if you continue doing it you would end up crating a set of habits that will guarantee your mental health to stay fit.

There are way more things that could improve your mood and help you but I understand depression and one of it's main features is that it makes you don't want to do shit, so the more things I put the less chance for you to do it; if you'd still want to know them just tell me and ill continue.

I hope this helps you as well as other member of the forum who might be suffering this COMMON illness.

Good Luck!

Coke actually saved a suicidal man's life who went to Colombia but he didn't stay hooked

The best way to handle depression is to visit a psychologist and follow his suggestions, cutting corners will only lead you where cutting corners leads.

And the visit is way cheaper than actual coke.

Thank you guys for every thing you have said to me you really helped me to move on in my life, I'm now trying to make a little project with some friends and soon I will tell you all about it and thanks again for every one who just gave a good word for me <3

I'm glad your feeling better man, life's crazy right now. My bank account was negative 3,000usd the last 3 month's, Its all fixed now but shit. I really don't know how it got outta hand that quick. Covid f***** everything up, for almost everyone.

Edit, This song helped.

Keep the positive attitude,
Oscar K.

My friend, don't worry, shit happens, and it happens. But they pass. I've been worse than that, believe me much worse (prison sentences, and much more than that im won't talk..)
Girlfriend? From what I understand you are studying, you are young. Girlfriends ... thousands you have left. Friends? If for something they stopped being it, they were never your friends, it's called interest ... Friends are the ones who are in good times, in bad times and in very bad times they jump with a high kick. (If you have one like that, keep it before the bride.)
Over time you learn to carry these things with you and you will not care, believe me, it will happen. When it happens you won't even notice. You won't care about anything said when you do. I tell you from experience. And where I live there is a saying: The devil knows more for being old than for being the devil.

Edit:
Fk yes as @Eldin sayd: So nice to see the community writing positive things!
As Eldin said before: So nice to see the community writing positive things!

And now that I read comments you impress me.
Good vibes guys!

But in some things, I do not agree.
Listening to happy music will not make you overcome depression (maybe it will help for 1h, the problem that scares you is there ..) Unfortunately, if you have depression, pass it hard. It is still a lesson in life.

Hope you're feeling better,
You deserve better than that. So don't see it negative, see it as an closer path to your goal and the people you deserve.
Sending a virtual hug
