Ey guyss.

So uhh . I have my gaming computer here ..

And I wanna run a server off it. The maps fairly big .. not anything like real map. A good 20mb custom map . I'm at school so I can't check.

Anyways.
Im using Intel Core i7 950 3.06ghz.
4GB RAM

and only about 9 - 10 thousand on download on speed test..
and about 1000 on upload.

My internet is the best internet you can get around here in Toronto ..
Well atleast i think so :S .. I'm using Rogers highest speed. And paying a lot per month >.< . This internet is perfect for all my downloads and stuff .. but I think the server will eat up all my bandwidth.
SO . the concern is ..


How many players would I be able to hold before I need to buy a dedicated?
I mean my computer specs rape a dedicated, but the internet doesn't .. Is it worth buying the dedicated for just the internet capacity and dedication? ..
I'm only willing to spend about 100 CAD a month on a dedicated, at first .. until I start making donation money.

I'd limit yourself to 100 players. It's a safe number that realistically you won't exceed.
 
my whole phone system, cellphone system etc is with rogers ..

I know theres DSL, Dial-up, T1 ..
