Im thinking of hosting an event any ideas?

First of all I need some input from everyone else on the forums including you Red. Do you guys think personal event hosting is a good idea, and if so what should be your prize?

I was thinking of giving out 20 points in donation items that I will be purchasing next week for this occasion.

But as for event ideas im rather lost should it be a test of pure pvp? And should pre-doners get to participate considering they seem to have everything they need.

how about you make an event for people under level 300 [Rebirth 0] with no donor items? therefore getting donor items to people who need them. and I can help with my GM if you need an event location.

Well, apparently rebirth 0 and 1 are the same thing so it should be Rebirth 0 or 1. But also, it should be available to donors as well. It's not are fault we donated 0o we should get a chance to win prizes also.

I will take both ideas under heavy consideration, I do believe in money is power so it should be available to donors but I also believe there is enough of us out there with money to provide for ourselfs. Im thinking of giving other people a chance to catch up. I dont know about the rest of you but im tired of seeing the same people in wars over and over I want some new kids to see what there made of and without donor items its almost impossible.

Well, the people that donate are the people that are dedicated to the server. The people that don't donate don't care as much about the server. They are more likely to quit as well. I wouldn't be surprised if a player quit even if he got 1 free donor item, because in the long run, 1 donor item doesn't cut it.

Therefor, in regards to fairness and respect, this even should be available to the entire population of players.

Well then I see your point, as of right now the event will be held for all those who wish to take place. Iv already thought on which grounds I will give the winner there items. Im going to cam what ever takes place during the event and go through each film so I know who actually killed who. And by that last statement you know its going to be pvp based. The winner or winners will be contacted by me after I review the video and will decide on what item they are going to recieve like I stated before this is for points and not the actual items themselves. To keep it fair the winner will choose 1 item of 5 points or less or multiple items that equal up to 5 points if possible havnt looked in awhile. And I will then send the item or items to them directly. Over all we should have 4 winners unless I get objections in the next few days with a better idea.



@ Zarz do you have an actual location for this event to take place? I enjoy the duel arena but because this is for actual points id rather there be some sacrafice to the game. So I believe real deaths shall take place to discourage those (Noobs) lack of a better word. From ruining the event.

I'm thinking of just using duel arena, and walling off the tp.

Like I said before the duel arena is ok, but I want people that have previously died not come back. I want there to be a champion of each vocation but this will prove very difficult for knights and paladins. So I was thinking of an open battle of split even teams first off, and then that team who proves to be the victor (depending on how many people are left) will face off until there is only 4 of them standing. And those people will receive there items accordingly.

Any thoughts or ideas that are better then this I'm open for any and all suggestions, and which ones I take will ultimately be up to me but I do need some input believe it or not it helps.
