Suggestion Improving OTLand.

I'm having a great time at OTLand, I love the activity but I feel that OTLand need some major improvements/changes.


For example..

• Rules
  We need some "official rules" instead of having moderators basically making up their own rules as they go along.
  You probably think that users are going to use common sense, so you skip writing some rules, if the world worked like that we wouldn't need laws right?
  But the world doesn't work that way, you need to set up rules and show the users that there are consequences for their actions.
  This will reduce the huge amount of "unjustified punishments", as moderators could simply point the rule breakers to the rules they were breaking which will result in a lot less people getting frustrated about getting punished for some "made up rule" by the moderator in person.
  
  
• Moderator behavior
  I've seen multiple moderators acting "non-moderish", which means;
  Insulting,spamming and even hunting down users which they don't like (rare but happens).
  So, I think the mods should start acting in a proper manner, after all they are supposed to keep the forum clean from junk NOT contributing with it.
  
  
• Moderator strictness
  I also think all mods should be stricter, like for example that SilentDefender guy has gotten away making like 4k posts which could look like this; "I AM DHAHAHHAHAH ;DD;DD;!!" which in most other forums would probably have been classed as spam or similar.
  
  

This is just what I think you guys should take into consideration, I haven't stated anywhere that I'm a "nice/good boy" so spare me your comments about my current attitude on this forum.

I'm with you, also when I wanted to change my name "Blasphemy" made a user called Sintus and told me, this user name is taken...
Really... And I told tala to check IPs.. He changed my name to sintus... and when I told Blsphemy why... he said I dont like you...

We've discussed this 'spam' in the staffboard some months ago as I wanted to stop the immature behaviour you are talking about.

Because I see no point in it, a lot of mods read threads where the spam posts appear and ignore it.

If you post on Otland please stay on the thread and don't argue one versus others. If you feel, use pm's because there you can insult each other as much as you want and plus you prevent getting punnished.

When I used PM's I got reported by Nikkster and got an infraction anyways. Because I started saying an idea of him was stupid, not that he was stupid.

Strongly disagree, I check ALL the threads that are open in the reported posts forum and I take actions in the boards that I'm allowed to.
