Hey there! Did anyone play Pats PvPe server? Back in 7.6 was the shizz..... Well... I was wondering if any of you would be interested in it... If so if I should update it to the newest client, or to another distro... Or just leave it plain ol' 7.6 old school.... Suggestions on update's, improvements perhaps? Feature's that would be great for it, and maybe some event's for when you reach XXX level you can go into tp and join on another map, ect..? Let me hear them please? :blink:
 
Old clients are a thing of the past. I don't understand why people want 7.1 or 7.6 back in real Tibia.
Nostalgia tells me I loved it, but reality tells me that it sucks.

I'd update it to the newest client, but expand. Don't make it 100% like Pat's server.
You have a wider variety of new features/content, you should be able to do more than what Pat's server had.
 
I agree, at the moment I'm making a copy of the map for 9.6, and 9.8x as of right now. I love the feeling of the newer client's, but 7.6 was the good war day's lol. Any suggestions you may want to add such as feature's? Kinda wanting a unique server based off pats however... If that makes any sense to you.
 
I think I'll do a newest version of it to see if anyone play's or likes it, and if not I'll go back to 7.6. :)

Newest version up and running, now to fix all the monster's/item's. Anyone Got any feature's they would like to see in the server? And also.. Suggestion's on a name perhaps?

I've been saying this since 8.0. I've never lived in the past, don't play OldSchool servers, don't like them either. Hell, even now I won't play anything below 9.6.

While I would agree to this, those of us whom played loved 7.6 pats ;)! However it is updated to the newest client that I have for now. It's ran perfectly fine without flaw's so far. Just setting up the anni, and other newer quest that will be included along with with event's, and such. :)
 
Yea, WPE offscreening them was cheating, but couldnt help being highest level and kicking ass LOL

People like it because it was generally when they started. They started discovering new things, it's also (in my opinion) when Tibia was at it's best. They made their Tibia friends, done quests or eventually conquered worlds. Nostalgia is a great thing, it brings back the past... Maybe it's not as good as it was but it's still pretty fun if you have the right people to play with.
 
I personally think that war on a 7.6 server is the best :p But hey!!!!!!!!! That's just me lol
 
Starting to feel like I should have left it 7.6 haha.... Anyway's update. * Server running great, first item's/level's/skills are fixed, map is great 0 BUGS!!!!!! All spawns are close to what I can remember" Also Krayzie F*cker's are in the spawn too.. ;) Should I let people make account's? Or just make them use public one's till a certain level then they can have teh option to make a account?

If ANYONE would be willing to come play, give idea's ect on the server please let me know. I'm going to be opening up a beta this week sometime.
