Intel SSD VS Intel HDD

I was thinking about to rent a dedicated server with intel SSD.
I heard its much better than intel HDD,
is this true?
is SSD better than HDD to host an ot, to have a better speed?

this is not about intel, but about Solid State Device vs Hard-drive Disk Device, AFIAK SSD is better, has faster write/read speeds, probability of failure is greatly reduced but it is very expensive(240GB for $700). search in Google for Advantages of SSD.

so if u have Running ur server with SSD instead of HDD its good?!

ssd is good if you read and/or write a lot of data without using big ammount of space(editing data, webserv)
ots shouldnt get too much adventage from it if aac isnt too heavy
