Ip changes everytime i restart my modem

hey im new to server making thing but i have a problem with my ip
eveytime i restart my modem i get new ip then "how im i suppose to hoste a server"
another question is how do i change my ip?

it's your internet... Maybe you can buy static IP fromyour provider, or just use no-ip server. No-IP - Dynamic DNS, Static DNS for Your Dynamic IP

If it only changes when you restart the modem, why restart the modem all the time?

Doesn't it work to setup a static IP in your router or something? ;p

just make the no-ip and make it so it auto detects the ip

I made the no-ip thing and it doesnt work ?
and how come now wen i use my ip in the serv only me can log in ,no one esle so i have to wait till i get new ip
