I am sorry to ask such a n00bish question, but is it possible to host an ot using www.godaddy.com ? And if it is possible to host using godaddy, do u recommend hosting with them?

Yes its possible, i don't really know if i can recommend you using them since i ain't experienced in that company and have actually never heard of them.
The only thing i can say is that i don't like their webpage, it seems squishy to me. I mean its to much "shit" all over the place, i cant rest my eyes anywhere heh.

Trusted companies usually got a clean and strict webpage, though it doesn't turn out that way always.
My only tip is to talk to them before you buy anything (daah).
