Hello Otland, I've got a server. Pretty small map and a few custom items. I wonder how many players I can have without any lag.



------ I Was downloading a game. I usually get about 95 Download and 9 Upload.

I'm using 100/10 mb/s Internet.

My Computer Specs
GPU: Radeon 5850
CPU: Intel Core i7 920 OC'ed 3.2 Ghz
RAM: 6GB
OS: Windows 7 Professional.
Motherboard: Asus P6T SE.

I think..im not sure...im pretty sure i would say like 50-60 people?
 
Well, People tells me that my computer isnt a problem. It's the internet :S Any more opinions of how many players my server can handle?
 
Your download is impressive, however - upload speed is what matters the most.
With some luck, your server should be able to handle up to 230 players.
 


mine is 60-80 players. so u can host with 300 players.. or something.


anyway how did u got that much speed?

--UP-- Det beror på vad du/dina föräldrar har beställt för internet. Det finns olika, upp till 24 mb/s ,100mb/s. Ju snabbare desto dyrare kostar det varje månad.

My apologie if the swedish was disturbing for other ppl :D
