Hi, my dedicated server will be located in USA (igsobe.com) I've bought the IBM Eserver 325.

I'm wondering, will players from Sweden lag because of the location of the server ? , I'm aiming for around 100 players maybe. It's not a RL map

Ofc, ppl from europe have 100ms more due to distance.

Anyway if the server is good they wont feel that
 
Should give them about 150-250ms ping. Depends on their own connection
 
If you'd have bought one in europe they'd have maybe 40-70 ping.
 
yeh, people will lag, not terribly, but if its a pvp server then its worthless to swedish players
 
Got a full refund from the server due to the time it took for me to recieve the server information(on their site it says 24h, for me it took near one week). Bought a server from Serverloft instead, thank you for the support though ;)

You think all that matters is the speed? No, no.
I have 100/100, and people in some parts of the US hardly can play.

To answer the question.
Yes, for some people it might lag. However, you can't satisfy everyone anyway so don't mind about it.
