It's alright, if it's your first map i suggest sticking to the older sprites and creating a normal looking town such as carlin or thais, than the better you get you can incorporate the new sprites into the map.

Bah, stop editing the screens like that, it doesn't look really good.

About your mapping: for the first try quite cool I would say, but you should map with the basic floors first. Just as Saraah said, you should use the new sprites later on.
