Laggs in tibia

Hey, so I'm thinking about playing tibia once again but there's 1 issue. I lagg like every 4 step I take, just standing still for 0,2secs but thats still too much. When I mapclick it works pretty good but still you wanna use the keyboard huh.

I've tried to change the graphic, dx5,dx7,OGL just simply everything, changed frames/s and all.

I got a good computer so thats not the problem, I have windows 7 is that why ? well I'm clueless... help please!

Edit: And yep, all other games works perfectly!

First: on win7 connection seems to be more laggy
2. in last week or so many of Tibia servers were under DDoS attacks

You should check your CPU usage, while Tibia is running. Tibia rapes my CPU like nuts while open, usually.

i would say Ddos attacks since i have been laggy aswel... and i have win 7 though i am not laging anymore and my comp is from 2007

I just did, and well it lagged alot when I was lowering it, but then I made it higher but still with those little darn laggs -.- Must be this windows 7 I guess... Don't know what else
