The lava streams are like 9.1+ or something so it will be without them if you downgrade them to 8.6

You can convert it very easy. Open RME in 8.6, click "file" - "import" - "import map". Locate your non 8.6 map. When map succesfully loaded, click "map" - "cleanup" and finish the empty fields with autoborder for example.
