You should try something like that instead of using the same picture on each dropdown, it will look sexier You should make the content background (where the news are) a lil' bit lighter, it's to much yellow I think.

Other then that it's nothing special really.. x'D But keep going, this is what I started doing!

Well I like bootstrap layouts, and as Naxtie said the yellow background won't look good at all.
The background seems okay but its better with the kind cipsoft uses, that you can see everything and then there is a color on the last cm on the pic so you can use a background color if the page is longer.
Atm you can only see a part of a warrior and another part of a dragon?

But yeah id probbly go with something in the white / blue / purple range insted of yellow / brown.
