Letter restrictions in name-creation

I don't understand why this doesn't work:

When I create a character with either of ÅÄÖ, It tells me the character has been created, but it sets the characters name to nothing (blank, nada whatsoever)

The letters work if I change the characters name in my mysql database and it shows up in game as for example: "Torbjörn" or "Åsa". So there's no problem with the server nor the database not being able to handle it.

My entire createcharacter.php looks like this:

Try that mby, otherwise something else is blocking the script.

Didn't help.
Got errors but when i fixed them, it's still the same with blank name on the character.

Would like to bump this again since I've not figured it out yet :/

Save your .lua file "Encoding" to ANSI to allow other scripts to read the characters properly.
