but i think its also stupid because sometimes i see pages full of likes from 1 person on every post of the topic

To me , this is meh.
Doesn't add anything so useful , yet doesn't make any big mess. I guess it's okay.

But! I must agree that an option to disable notifications for likes would be nice.

I started to smile, then when i checked them, it was some stupid "like" notifications
