Linux Linux Compiling Error, Cannot Find

Hello

Me & My friend are trying to compile our server with the source files but errors are popping up. First this error.

home/ubuntu/sources/OpenTibia/OTServ/trunk/lua.h:16:21: fatal error: lua.h: No such file or directory

Then when we downloaded a lua.h another error popped up:

home/ubuntu/sources/OpenTibia/OTServ/trunk/lua.h:16:21: fatal error: luaconf.h: No such file or directory

Is there a reason for these errors popping up that is easy to solve or do we have to download each and every file that seemes to be missing... :S

The server is going to be compiled to Linux OS.

Using the right commands for compiling?

I'm not 100% confident that there's some kind of command involved, but I do know that my friend is using a program called Code Block on the Linux server.
