so i follow this guide. http://otland.net/threads/help-compiling-tfs-on-ubuntu.163603/#post-1576981
who tells this guy to do this:
Hmmm ok i understand
i have fixed your problem listen..

Upload your sources folder
root or other folder..
example you upload folder sources in cd /home/sources
need use this lines

Lua:
cd /home/
chmod 777 -R sources
cd /home/sources/
./autogen.sh
./configure --enable-mysql
make -j 4

and create your exe theforgottenserver in folder sources
need move to your folder where have folder data your server.

Example you have in home/server/ your folder data and all your ot..
need move to home/server/ understand?
Open Server need use lines use all..

Lua:
cd
screen -A -S server
cd /home/server
while true; do ./theforgottenserver; done

So when i do make -j 4 part then this appears after some time with the files
make[1]: *** [theforgottenserver] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/tfs'
make: *** [all] Error 2

ok so if anyone who got the knowledge about compiling a TFS 0.4 server for Linux unbuntu please private me and i hope you got skype so the messages will be transferd faster it would meen alot to me :)

Ok updating: I just removed -werror from makefile.am.
and added <sys/signal.h> to otserv.cpp
still dident work..

cant write the entire text from the server but i use
using * Revision 04 (20/10/2011) - : trunk.r3777.r04.7z <-- when i think of it this is an old file and there exists a newer one right? might that be the problem?

and when i use
root@*********:~/sources# ./autogen.sh

not sure if this is the right errors you asked for
when using make -j 4

use only 'make', not 'make -j 4', could be you are running out of memory or you dont even have 4 cores.

And we need you to post the whole error after you enter 'make'.

correct me if i am wrong but do all the errors appear on the same spot or do i have to copy the entire wall of text that is coming up?

(scrub on linux) never used a linux server or computer in my entire life

Copy everything from the line where you entered make to the last one
