Compiling Linux or Ubunto? Wichone is Better?

Ubuntu is a flavour of linux.
See ubuntu, debian etc etc as windows 7, 8 etc etc

The question should there for be more like "should I use ubuntu or debian?".
I always use ubuntu, you have to see what you prefer yourself :p

Well as I said you should gather your own opinion insted of asking what you should use :p
Most users seems to use debian or ubuntu and as I said I use ubuntu and always have.
