Compiling [Linux] Question

I see one friend, and he compile one otserv in linux for me, with only 2 comands, he install all, compile otserv and install database...

How its possible?

How can i?

Perhaps scripts? or a ridiculously long one-liner command? it can be done, but it is not a simple command, it's multiple commands.
