Linux vs Windows

Linux is how many times better than windows to host the server?
How many times is the perfomance better? Do someone know?

There is no question. Linux all the way. I have been using linux for quite some time to notice that performance is much much greater then windows and its not that hard to use. Plus if you decide not to install any kind of GUI you would have a huge increase in performance also keep in mind graphics cards have nothing to do with hosting. I have seen few people bragging with such but really? I use everything without a gui though, command line is not that hard and its fast as * ^^. Just gain a bit more knowledge in linux and use it for everything You will not regret it!
