I'm going to compile a list of tools that the community feel in need of :) feel free to post suggestions, currently we have a decent map editor (RME by @Remere), item editor (ObjectBuilder by @EdMignari), map tracker (not so decent but still usable xd), NPC editor (by @Elime), the question is, which program do you guys miss?

For me I wanted something like the itemtracker that Ian did past when he did the maptracker, so I could update my items.xml file with new items easily and contributed with lots of items into old 0.4, and I wanted to contribute again with tfs 1.x items.xml by tracking the lots of missing items we currently miss, I would like to see some input from community to build the list with ideas, and from developers and aspiring developers whiling to help the community for free so we can have better tools to work with :)

quoting @Mark @Fallen @Dalkon @EvulMastah and @kornholi to see if they can help us with the item tracker so we can help tfs to have a more complete item list :)

Last time I used an NPC editor (it's been a year or 2), the conversation editor was pretty confusing to me (could have just been me, but idk)

Feel free to try Elime's NPC Editor and tell me if it's confusing or not. =P

On topic:
I think a graphical spell creator that is up to date would be nice. Not sure if the developer of that program is gone or not.

A really easy and SIMPLE way to make new items, using existing or new sprites. Beeing able to compile items.otb, Tibia.dat, items.xml and Tibia.spr at once on save.
Should be almost dumb how easy it is to implement new stuff. Like a drop down list on what kind of item you want to add, for example (weapon, armor, rings, ground, among other things) Which set default values needed for the type of item you've selected. For example, if you select weapon, it makes a new item with the default flags needed for a weapon (pickupable, pushable, whadda whadda) Then you could set damage values, weight among other things. Should be able to do more advanced editing if needed.

Me myself, personally think it's pain to add new stuff even if it's kinda easy already. But could be WAY more painless.

What about all in one editor? Then there is only 1 tool that we need to update...

Combination of:
Map editor
Notepad++
Dat editor
Spr editor
items.otb editor
spell/npc/creatures editor

Something like this, with ctrl+z function and auto-save or something like:

in case your computer turns off or electricity pull off when you run on cable or something while you were working on it, that the files do not get damaged and that it saved in the state before anything wrong happened..

The tibiacanvas project posted on Otland is a really good resource, I wish someone would pick up back up. Currently I do my sprites, then compile, then run server to test then back start 1. The live editor save a lot of time but its lacking.
