Hello. Recently I've found my way back to Open-Tibia Servers after a very long Hiatus. I've came across a few servers I really do enjoy and upon playing them it made me want to start my own. Years ago I had it planned out that I would launch my own server but a 2 man team was just taking way too long with a full course load from college. The mapping was taking long and everything was transitioning from the XML to PHP scripts. So we decided to just scrap it all and left back to real tibia.
Now I've been looking at Tutorials for a few days now and the mapping seems a lot smoother and simpler. On the scripting part I'm struggling to learn. I took C+ and C++ in High School years ago and failed miserably, but passed with my multi media game design and web design.
Long story short if you'd like to form a team with a long term server than message me. I'm not looking at making a 999x+ server but more of a low staged exp one with many quests and rewards to keep players coming and staying. I'd prefer to have the map 99% custom and fresh.
