Why don't you use 10.35 as client in the map editor?

You can use a lower client version to map with. You can even use a 8.3 map in a 10.4 server.
Only difference is that you can't map with the newer sprites your server client has then.

What is the name of your map in the world folder? Make sure it's forgotten, or if it's called different, you can also change the mapname in config.lua.
You can also try to import the map into a new (empty) map, then use that map instead.
