Made my own Tibia 8.6 server HELP!!

Hey, i made my own server, everything is nice, i came in to my server with 127.0.0.1. But then i logged in, made a account, logged into account, was gonna create character, but the only thing it says is:
21:53 Account Manager: That name seems to contain invalid symbols tell me another name.

And i spawned in a weirdo place, any help? Thanks.

Ehmm , so some people(included me) just can't connect themselves via global IP GUYZZ (even with no-ip , ask -> dns -> respond -> same ip) , ancient routers got the power of blocking incoming self connection.
Same question , same story and probably same ending
Check out if someone can connect to your server, if so one problem less.

I had exactly the same Problem /about 5 months ago\
its not the No-ip's problem, you must be doing something
wrong which makes your server not connect correctly

These are my Ports that i have got Forwarded. - It might come handy.


After you forwarded the Ports, make sure you download "Noip DUC"
Of here.

Dynamic DNS - Free Dynamic Update Client Download

After the Download, Install the Noip DUC and launch it.
You should get a Windows which Looks like This -



- Enter your Email adress and Password that you have
set when you were creating your NO-IP account.

After you Should have a window appearing which looks
like this -



You should have 2 Crosses and 1 Tick
Then go to -

Edit Hosts
- And you should have your Host that you have created in NO-IP
Just like mine-


It should be Unticked.
-Tick it and Press Save

Now all of your Red crosses Should dissappear
and you should have

3 Green Ticks

- Make sure You have Created a -HOST- Not a Domain.

After that everything should work properly but if it doesn't
then try everything all over again.

I got the server workin!!! Thanks everyone for answers <3 Friends could connect to the IP, me self can only connect through localhost, but who cares, still works right?

But about the website, i made the website, but the name is "LOCALHOST" How can i change that so i get it like a real OT server name?

Just write your global ip in the browser, and the website should pop right up
