Making OTservers

So basically I've been trying to make an OTserver, seems quite easy, but now I'm stuck and I dont know what to do. So I ask you admins; the community if you can help me. BTW, first time attempting to make a an ot. I done all the things I got told to do in Znotes thread; but when I try to 'run' the server, it just would not come up. It says; Failed to connect to database. MYSQL ERROR: Access denied for use '----'@-----' >Error: Couldn't estabilish connection to SQL database. Can somebody experienced in these kind of things help me please. Also, I don't mind if we can remote and do team viewer; aslong as your a trustworthy person.

(The --- bit is just because I don't want to show my information to others )

I can help you on team viewer. Gotta download xampp and got to your're local host and set password, then download your database to localhost/php my admin.

1.Download Xampp.
2.Install And Run Mysql
3.Press Admin
4.your Gone Go To Phpmyadmin
5.Go to Privilage's after Choosing the Language,Create New User (Password if u want it local i guess/And if ur gone host Dont make a password,I guess too)
6.Then Go to the Name of the Database Import,Then Find ur .Mysql (Most Probebley in the Doc File)
7.Then go To ur Config and Search for Database Then ur Gone Find Database : -------- Write in the Space the Name.(Something like that )

Anyway I could also get some assistance?
I have Xampp 1.7.3 installed.

I've tried these two servers:
OTServ 9.10 r.6105 - gives me an error 'database connection failed' I tried to look over the config.lua and I have everything for the database correct as far as i can tell.

theforgottenserver-v0.2.11pl2 - This works just fine, the database loads but i have no NPC's... and i have no clue how to add or where to get the stock npc's.


If you (Arkangel Nyx) or anyone else could help point me in the right direction or even go so far as to remote in with me to show me what im doing wrong.

I'm using UniServer, and I've done everything which has been asked in the tutorial, but it still will not work. I don't really wanna use Xampp as it is easy to hack and used for testing purpose's only.
