Windows Map Editor Problem

I am having one problem after another today.
Now it's this XD
I want to know how i can edit a 9.54 map, everytime i goto open it, it says Navigate to 8.31 installation folder, then when i do that, it has errors with some items.
Can sometell me how i can get around this?
or even for 9.10?

Open rme to begin with, then press cancel if it shows that navigate issue. Then click file, properties, client version, change default to 9.10 (and direct to your 9.10 folder) Then load the map. It should work.

Still pops up with 8.31 needed.
